Friday Laughs

I haven’t giggled this hard in a while!

Just something to brighten your day!

Chad’s sister & her husband are coming with our 8-month-old niece to visit this weekend, and I can’t wait!  Cora has made me completely reevaluate my position on babies.

What are you up to this weekend?

  1. You were previously anti-baby? Tiny cuddly babies can make a bit of an argument for themselves. 🙂

I’m dodging germ bullets this weekend, caught a something and hoping to beat it back before the week starts. Hope you have a good weekend!

    • Not anti-baby, but in general, just slightly scared by them. I still think kids are more fun when they’re around 2 or 3 and they can walk and talk and are actually engaged with other people.

I compared my niece to a very cute dog that doesn’t come when you call and doesn’t know its own name. I think Chad’s sister was a little offended!

  2. Yes, I’m curious about your no-baby sentiment. Do a post on it!

I was somewhat anti-baby until I turned 30, when my perspective magically changed. Still don’t like strange co-workers bringing their kids up to work and expecting everybody to fawn over them. Who cares? I need a connection with the baby!

    • I’ve never been anti-baby, they just sort of scare me. I compared my niece to an adorable dog that doesn’t come when you call and doesn’t even know it’s own name. I’m sure it’s different when it’s your baby, and I did feel a little tickle in the ol’ ovaries when she flashed that toothless smile!
