July Wrap-Up

I already mentioned that my finances were completely destroyed (net worth still increase, thank you stock market!) this month, but lets see how I did on my goals!

1. Review & revise 2010 goals. Done!
It’s a testament to how low I set my goals that I’ve managed to complete or nearly complete  a bunch of them already.

2. Work out 4x per week. Done!
Boogie boarding counts, right? Because that was all I did while I was at the beach.

3. Read 2 books. Fail.
I finished one, but have only worked my way through about half of I Capture The Castle.  Which I only just discovered I already read.  I’m trying to decide if it’s a good thing or a bad thing that I didn’t remember the book at all… although to be fair, I did read it the year I did 52 books in 52 weeks, so I read a ton of books that year!

4. No shopping! Done!
Me In Millions, I made it! How did you do? Of course, I then promptly ordered a necklace and some nail polish from Charlotte Russe before I’d even flipped the page in the calendar.

5. Debate opening a new CD. Fail.
Mostly I just lolled around being disappointed that Chad didn’t get the job.  I guess it’s selfish, considering how much we save already, but I was adding up how much we could save if we were both working full time, and that dream was suddenly ripped away.

Apparently, I mostly failed this month.  Go me!

  1. I made it too! Yay 🙂

I’ve been so busy with work that I haven’t even had a chance to think about going shopping, so that helped! I need to write a post about this… or I just need to write a post.
